![]() ![]() the midi shows up in track 2, as it's obviously been recorded to the track. I record a bassline using Maschine's pads (I find it a bit more fun to do that than play it in on a piano). Track 2/Group B - here's where the problems start. Track 1/Group A - no problems at all recording my kit. Groups E through H - reserved for sample chopping, "MPC-style" Here's how I have my stuff set up in Maschine: I want to basically create 8 midi channels that match each of my Maschine Groups A-H. I have Enable Midi Output ticked of course. I'm banging my head against the wall right now trying to figure out how to do the same type of thing in Sonar 8 or Sonar X1. ![]() thanks for all the kind words about the tutorial.
